Asem-asem Selada Air (Watercress-sour tamarind)



Bahan(Ingredients):
2 ikat selada air (2 bunches watercress)
½ kg tulang iga (½  kg ribs)
4 buah belimbing sayur (4 star fruit vegetables)

3 buah cabai merah (3 red chilies)
4 butir bawang merah (4 red onions)
½ sendok teh terasi (½ teaspoon shrimp paste)
Garam dan gula secukupnya (Salt and sugar to taste)

Cara Membuat (How to Make):
Selada air dibersihkan lalu dipotong-potong. Masak 1 liter air hingga mendidih kemudian masukan potongan tulang iga, masak sampai daging empuk. Cabai merah, bawang merah, dan terasi dihaluskan lalu masukan dalam rebusan tulang iga. Tambahkan garam dan gula secukupnya. Terakhir masukan potongan selada air, masak sampai layu kemudian angkat.
(Watercress cleaned and cut into pieces. Cook 1 quart water to boil and then input rib pieces, cook until meat is tender. Red peppers, red onion, shrimp paste and then enter the rib stew. Add salt and sugar to taste. Finally enter the water lettuce pieces, cook until softened, then remove from heat).
